KoçSistem, Turkey's leading technology company, and Honeywell, a global industrial technology leader offering advanced solutions in automation, the future of aviation, and energy transformation, have joined forces in Operational Technology (OT) security.
With the largest and first cooperation of its kind in Turkey, KoçSistem and Honeywell will offer effective cybersecurity solutions for areas where OT systems are critical. KoçSistem will deliver Honeywell’s software, security tools, and managed services developed for OT systems to its customers in Turkey and surrounding regions.
Istanbul – KoçSistem, known for its strong strategic partnerships with global technology manufacturers and its dynamic ecosystem focused on customer needs, has signed a new cooperation agreement in the field of Industrial Cybersecurity with global industrial technology company Honeywell. The signing ceremony, held in Istanbul, was attended by KoçSistem General Manager Mehmet Ali Akarca and Uygar Doyuran, President of Honeywell Turkey and Central Asia.
According to the agreement, Honeywell’s globally recognized advanced OT cybersecurity solutions will be offered to customers by KoçSistem, primarily in Turkey and other designated markets. Operational Technologies refer to the control systems and technologies used in complex industrial facilities for operation and automation. KoçSistem will undertake consultancy, installation, technical support, and maintenance for these solutions—leveraging Honeywell’s expertise to deliver a comprehensive industrial cybersecurity portfolio across the region.
Mehmet Ali Akarca: We Continue to Lead in Cybersecurity
KoçSistem General Manager Mehmet Ali Akarca emphasized KoçSistem’s leadership in cybersecurity solutions in Turkey and said:
